Day 1: Fly into Serengeti National Park – Afternoon Game Drive
Your safari begins with a scenic light-aircraft flight into the heart of Serengeti National
Park, offering spectacular aerial views of Tanzania’s endless plains, winding rivers, and
wildlife-rich landscapes below. Upon arrival at the Serengeti airstrip, you will be warmly
welcomed by your professional safari guide, and your adventure begins immediately
with a game drive through this world-famous wilderness. The Serengeti is renowned for
its incredible wildlife concentration and vast open landscapes, where you may
encounter lions resting on rocky kopjes, cheetahs scanning the grasslands, elephants
moving through the plains, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras depending on the
season. Enjoy an afternoon of exploration before continuing to your camp or lodge for
dinner and overnight, surrounded by the unforgettable sounds of the African
wilderness.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the magnificent Serengeti ecosystem. The
morning game drive offers excellent opportunities to observe predators when they are
most active, while the rest of the day allows you to discover the different habitats that
make Serengeti one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations. Your experienced guide
will carefully select the best areas based on wildlife movements, exploring open plains,
river systems, and rocky kopjes where animals gather. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the
wilderness, allowing you to remain immersed in the natural surroundings before
continuing with an afternoon game drive as the golden light transforms the landscape.
Spending a second night in the Serengeti provides more time to appreciate the scale,
beauty, and incredible wildlife encounters of this remarkable ecosystem.

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and continue towards the spectacular Ngorongoro
Conservation Area, travelling through changing landscapes as the endless plains
gradually transform into the cooler highland scenery surrounding the crater. Upon
arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive inside one
of Africa’s most unique wildlife areas. The crater floor supports an extraordinary
concentration of animals, offering opportunities to see the Big Five, including the
endangered black rhino, as well as large elephant bulls, lions, buffaloes, hippos, zebras,
wildebeests, and abundant birdlife. After enjoying a picnic lunch inside the crater,
ascend the crater walls and continue to your lodge near the crater area for dinner and
overnight accomodation

After breakfast, continue your safari to Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful and
diverse park located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Despite its smaller
size, Lake Manyara offers a unique safari experience with groundwater forests, open
floodplains, and the alkaline lake creating a variety of habitats for wildlife. During your
game drive, you may encounter large troops of baboons, elephants moving through the
forest, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and the famous tree-climbing lions. The park is also an
excellent destination for bird lovers, with flamingos and hundreds of other bird species
often found around the lake. After exploring Lake Manyara, continue towards the
Tarangire area for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Your final safari experience takes place in Tarangire National Park, a destination
famous for its ancient baobab trees, scenic landscapes, and some of the largest elephant
populations in Tanzania. During your game drive, explore the park’s open savannah and
areas surrounding the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the year. You
may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, antelopes, and a
wide variety of bird species. After enjoying a picnic lunch inside the park, continue with
your final wildlife exploration before departing Tarangire and returning to Arusha in the
late afternoon. Your safari concludes after an incredible journey through four different
ecosystems, each offering a unique perspective of Tanzania’s natural beauty.
